There’s excellent news for anyone who’s been awaiting a grand return to the United Kingdom.
The UK has announced the reopening of England and Scotland without any quarantine restrictions beginning on August 2nd.
This reopening will apply to fully vaccinated visitors from the United States and the entirety of the European Union with a single exception – traveling from France will continue to require a quarantine period.

The UK has stated they will review the status of travelers from France next week.
For those traveling from the United States and accepted EU nations, you will still be required to present proof of full vaccination with any vaccine approved by the FDA or the European Medicines Agency.
In addition, you will also need to present a pre-arrival covid test and pass another covid test taken within two days of arrival to avoid the 10-day quarantine. Finally, you’ll need to fill out a passenger locator form.
There has been no statement yet for those hoping to visit Wales or Northern Ireland. Currently, those areas require a 10-day quarantine for travelers and nomads who wish to visit.
