United Airlines is offering extra incentive to get the covid-19 vaccine. The airline is running a sweepstakes to win one year of free flights after uploading your covid vaccination card.
To enter, you’ll need to be a member of United Airlines’ MileagePlus program, which is free to join. You’ll also need to be a U.S. citizen. Once you’ve logged into your MileagePlus account, follow the prompts to upload a photo of your covid vaccination card. The giveaway closes on June 22.
What’s on offer
- Five grand prize winners will receive a year of free flights anywhere United or United Express flies. The winner is allowed to bring one companion on a total of 26 roundtrip flights valid between July 15, 2021, and July 14, 2022. All flights must originate within the 50 United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the US Virgin Islands.
- 30 winners will receive free roundtrip flights for two in any class anywhere United flies. Again, travel must take place between July 15, 2021, and July 14, 2022.
United Airlines is opening more summer routes to popular destinations that are currently open to U.S. citizens like Greece, Croatia, and Iceland.
